William Sutphen Designs

William: I have been going to the Hamptons in New York to visit my friend Dave O for the past five years to work with him on different projects. Every time I felt a desire to get over to the Pollock / Krasner house in the Hampton Bays. I tried to see the studio many times, whatever the reasons, not enough time, off season, the circumstances just never came together.  I finally made it in the summer of 09. The very second I stepped into his studio wearing little slippers across the dried dripped paint, I had the most magical awakening. I felt dizzy with a feeling of euphoria. I came home, my spirit filled with creative new influence of pollock who had put his life and soul into his art. These paintings are my interpretation of my trip and the energy. Enjoy.
